OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Josh Bersin Company, the world’s most trusted human capital advisory firm, today announced a major engineering and content access upgrade to its intelligent AI assistant, Galileo®. The latest Jupiter release is purpose-built to enhance the AI tools already in your workflow to better support work-and management-related queries for the first time—extending specialized, trusted, grounded HR expertise to managers across core business functions for their everyday operational challenges.

The Josh Bersin Company

Galileo moves from being a source of knowledge for a select group of experts to becoming the trusted intelligence layer

This major strategic upgrade marks a significant evolution of Galileo into an AI-ready intelligent context source for managers, leaders, recruiters and HR professionals, available on any AI agent platform. And Galileo comes optimized to integrate with company policies while minimizing token costs.

As organizations move towards mainstream operational AI adoption, where AI is deeply embedded in work, they face a new set of challenges, including unreliable information, inaccurate results, fragmented knowledge, and outdated data.

The Jupiter release addresses these challenges with engineered features including:

  • Content semantically chunked and tagged with eight levels of metadata, ensuring accurate and actionable results
  • More than 1,500 real-world interviews and case studies are seamlessly integrated providing employees and managers with real-world examples and best practices
  • Galileo is available as an MCP server, connecting it to any third-party tools, agents, HR systems and employee data
  • It can understand and analyze employee data from Workday, SAP, Oracle, and HiBob, with open interfaces to other HR platforms
  • Addition of executive wage data from new Trusted Content Partner Equilar, enriching Galileo’s corpus with authoritative market data to enhance AI-powered guidance on executive pay.

Through ARC™, Jupiter’s Agent Ready Corpus technology, Galileo can access and reason over its proprietary knowledge base faster and with greater accuracy for human capital decision-making than general-purpose AI models. New benchmarks show that Galileo’s domain-specific AI is over 200% faster than the large language models (LLMs) tested, while those LLMs produced hallucinations or incorrect answers in more than 50% of queries. The Josh Bersin Company tested performance using 30 complex, real-world “golden prompts” spanning recruitment, vendor analysis, turnover, organizational design and management scenarios.

A detailed whitepaper on ARC technology is available here.

The result is that Galileo is highly efficient and doesn’t require costly LLM token consumption to operate. And because Galileo is licensed through standard enterprise pricing, token costs remain minimal.

Now Optimized for Enterprise Platforms and AI Agents

Through MCP, Galileo is now available on any AI agent. This includes productized solutions for Workday, ServiceNow, Gloat, HiBob, and Microsoft.

For example, the Microsoft Copilot version of Galileo is particularly optimized for use with the Microsoft Graph, Microsoft’s unified API for accessing and working with data and services across Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft cloud products. This means any employee or HR professional can use Galileo to access company, HR, or employee information in SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft data sources.

As an additional example of productivity and efficiency made possible by Jupiter, the Galileo Inside Workday integration goes beyond a standard connection, as Galileo is built on Sana, the enterprise AI platform that powers Workday. By operating natively within Workday’s ecosystem, Josh Bersin Company’s trusted HR expertise is now available directly in the environment where managers and HR professionals are already working.

Partners Show Their Support for Galileo Jupiter

“Every day, people ask Gloat agents key questions: How does this policy apply to me? Who is ready for this role? How should we reshape a team? Loomra, our agentic HR platform, answers based on a live picture of that organization. Through Galileo, those answers will also carry The Josh Bersin Company’s research frameworks, benchmarks, and case studies from three decades of studying how great companies manage people and work, with traceable citations.” – Ben Reuveni, CEO and Co-Founder, Gloat.

“HiBob is leading the transition from traditional systems of record into systems of intelligence and to us, that is the essence of agentic HCM. Automation, decisions, and insights are critical first steps, but each must earn a customer’s trust. This partnership addresses the hardest of the three: embedding Galileo’s decision intelligence, grounded in research from The Josh Bersin Company, directly into Bob’s agentic workflows. HR leaders have relied on that body of work for years; now, it works alongside them right inside Bob.” – Ronni Zehavi, CEO and Co-Founder, HiBob.

“Galileo brings expert HR guidance directly into Microsoft Copilot, turning best practices and enterprise know-how into action where work happens.” – Chantrelle Nielsen, Principal Product Manager, Copilot Platform, Microsoft.

“At ServiceNow, we believe in putting AI to work for people, not replacing human judgment but amplifying human potential. By connecting Galileo’s trusted, domain-specific intelligence to ServiceNow EmployeeWorks and HR Service Delivery, we’re bringing that philosophy to life — giving every employee, manager, and HR leader real-time access to verified expertise on career, learning, leadership, and organizational design.” – John Phillips, GVP, Employee Workflows, ServiceNow.

“At Workday, our enterprise AI platform, Sana, is designed to power the next generation of work. By enabling specialized tools like Galileo to operate natively within our platform, we’re amplifying what Workday does best: delivering a seamless, intelligent experience that pairs a company’s core HR data with trusted industry insights, all in one secure place.” – Nikki Helmer, Vice President, Talent Management & Insights, Workday.

Commenting on the significance of the Jupiter advance, Amy Farner, Josh Bersin Company EVP and Head of Research and Product, said:

“The move from Mars to Jupiter transforms Galileo from being a trusted content repository for HR knowledge product into a true intelligence infrastructure layer for enterprise AI that will help line-of-business managers across functions and roles.

“Galileo for Microsoft Copilot now lets any Copilot user instantly have access to the world’s most informed, trusted, and authoritative HR consultant—leaving them ready to help with career, learning, coaching, or any management or leadership-related question.”

Josh Bersin Company CEO and global industry analyst Josh Bersin said:

“Jupiter is the moment when Galileo moves from being a source of knowledge for a select group of experts to becoming the trusted intelligence layer behind enterprise AI, helping organizations turn AI experimentation into accurate, scalable and actionable decision-making.

“That matters because enterprise AI is moving from a question of capability to a question of trust. The winners will not be the organizations with the most AI tools; they will be the ones with the most reliable intelligence behind those tools. And beta testers of Galileo Jupiter are telling us that’s exactly what they’re seeing.”

Notes for Editors

Galileo and intelligent chunking ARC content

The Jupiter release of Galileo introduces Agent Ready Corpus (ARC™), an architecture designed to improve the retrieval and use of HR and management content by the Galileo AI system.

The core concept is a new general advance in AI called chunking, which breaks large bodies of data, such as lengthy documents and text files, into smaller, more manageable pieces.

ARC uses proprietary semantic and contextual “chunking” techniques to break Galileo’s knowledge base into smaller, tagged units, with metadata capturing each piece’s subject, context and intended use.

This allows only relevant content to be retrieved without processing an entire document or corpus for each query.

This matters because Galileo’s corpus is highly domain-specific, spanning research, case studies, models, charts and other content that has been consistently structured and tagged. Each unit can be represented as an embedding—a numerical representation of its meaning—and indexed with metadata such as topic, source, date and content type.

While similar techniques are used in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to identify relevant information before it reaches a language model, ARC is specifically tailored to Galileo’s domain and use cases.

At query time, rather than passing entire documents or a broad corpus into the model’s context, Jupiter uses semantic retrieval and metadata to narrow the information supplied to the underlying language model. Smaller, focused retrieval units also reduce irrelevant context and the number of tokens processed, making the technology more economically optimized.

Benchmarking metrics

Galileo’s ARC corpus was evaluated using 30 internal “golden prompts” covering common HR and management scenarios, designed to reflect the complex, multi-part questions customers ask Galileo rather than simple factual lookups. An AI-based grader scored responses on a five-point scale. Testing compared Galileo with multiple AI systems, with results indicating more than 50 instances of hallucination, exaggeration or fabrication in their responses compared with Galileo.

Compliance

Galileo is ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certified, meeting rigorous compliance standards.
