AS, BELGIUM, September 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Matthew Bodhi is the musical project of Belgian singer-songwriter Levi van Dommelen, creating poetic alternative music where intimate songwriting meets cinematic soundscapes, emotional vocals and a sense of quiet spirituality.

His musical journey began with experimental rock band Process Of The Spirit before evolving into a solo career and collaborations with international artists and producers. His work has received airplay on Belgian national radio, including Joe FM, Qmusic, Radio 2 and MNM, while his music has also reached film, television and international audiences.

Matthew Bodhi recorded an album with acclaimed producer Phil Vinall, known for his work with artists including Radiohead, Placebo and Zoé. The album is now being released one single at a time following Vinall’s passing in December 2025.

The first release, This Void, carries a story that reaches far beyond music. Written by Matthew Bodhi and recorded with Vinall, the song took on a profound new meaning after Matthew Bodhi lost his baby son, Elton-Lou, in December 2025.

Rather than being a song only about grief, This Void is about the love that remains, even after loss.

It is music for the space between darkness and light, intimate, cinematic and deeply human, with both the song and its self-made music video serving as a personal tribute to Elton-Lou and Phil Vinall.

Influenced by artists such as Jeff Buckley and Radiohead, Matthew Bodhi creates songs designed not simply to be heard, but to be felt.
